Anxiety and stress can feel very overwhelming. People experience anxiety and stress in many different ways. Some people may notice racing thoughts, while others may experience physical symptoms like muscle tension or a rapid heartbeat. Therapy is an effective treatment for anxiety and stress. In therapy we will work to better understand triggers for stress and anxiety as well as how to manage and cope with stress and anxiety. You will learn how to handle anxious thoughts in a new way so they do not feel as overwhelming. Please see below for symptoms of anxiety.
Symptoms of anxiety can include:
-Restlessness, or feeling keyed up or on edge
-Getting tired easily
-Mind going blank or trouble concentrating
-Trouble controlling the worrying
-Trouble falling asleep, trouble staying asleep, or unsatisfying sleep
